About This Journal

The Mesopotamian Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare (MJAIH) is an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research on the development, evaluation, and implementation of AI in healthcare. Its purpose is to publish original contributions—both theoretical and applied—that address key challenges and opportunities in clinical AI, medical data intelligence, and healthcare innovation.

MJAIH encourages work that strengthens reliability, safety, fairness, explainability, and clinical usefulness, supporting advances in areas such as diagnostics, prognostics, clinical decision support, medical imaging, digital health, public health analytics, and health systems optimization.

This journal follows the principles and guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Journal History

The Mesopotamian Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare (MJAIH) was established in 2023. Since its inception, MJAIH has been committed to advancing AI-driven healthcare research and translation as an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed open-access journal. Its continuous publication model supports the timely dissemination of research in this fast-evolving field.

Publishing Schedule

MJAIH operates on a continuous publication model. Articles are published online after acceptance and completion of production, ensuring rapid dissemination without waiting for a fixed issue date.

MJAIH is an open-access publication. All articles are freely accessible to read, download, and share immediately upon publication, ensuring unrestricted access for the global scientific and clinical community.

All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). No registration is required to access the content, and there is no embargo period.

Article Processing Charge

MJAIH charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 1,000 to cover editorial handling, peer review management, production, online hosting, and long-term archiving, while ensuring immediate open access to published papers.

The APC applies only after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review and has been accepted for publication. Submission is free of charge.

At present, we do not offer APC waivers or discounts.
