Babylonian Journal of Mechanical Engineering (BJME) is an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal established in 2023. The journal follows a continuous publication model, ensuring that accepted articles are published promptly to support the timely dissemination of research. All articles are published in English under a CC BY 4.0 license, with authors retaining copyright. An Article Processing Charge (APC) of 1,000 USD applies upon acceptance.
BJME is dedicated to advancing research in Mechanical Systems Design, Materials and Manufacturing, Thermal and Fluid Sciences, Robotics and Automation, and Energy Systems. The journal welcomes Original Research Articles, Review Articles, Short Communications, Mini Reviews, and Editorials that present innovative methodologies, theoretical advancements, and practical engineering applications addressing contemporary technological challenges.
The journal is indexed in Scopus and ROAD. It is committed to maintaining high editorial standards and an efficient review process. The average time from submission to first decision is approximately 40 days, with accepted papers typically published within 3 weeks.
