The Mesopotamian Journal of Big Data (MJBD) is an international, peer-reviewed open-access journal dedicated to advancing the theory, technologies, analytics, and applications of Big Data across various domains. Our primary aim is to publish original and high-quality research, both theoretical and applied, that addresses the significant challenges and capitalizes on the opportunities presented by the increasing volume, velocity, variety, and veracity of data. We provide a platform for cutting-edge research and innovative methodologies, contributing significantly to the academic community's understanding and practical application of Big Data in diverse fields such as healthcare, finance, smart cities, and more.

Types of Articles
The journal welcomes submissions of papers covering:
- Original articles: In-depth research across various scientific disciplines.
- Short communications: Complete manuscripts of significant importance, with a total of no more than 4 figures and tables, and a word count of up to 3,000 words.
- Review articles: Typically under 10,000 words, these include an unstructured abstract and up-to-date references. Meta-analyses are also considered.
- Mini reviews: Concise and focused reviews on important and recent topics, limited to 5,000 words.
- Editorial Papers: These typically offer perspectives, commentary, or critical insights from the editorial board or invited experts on topics relevant to the journal's scope.
